For such an excellent restaurant, we truly enjoyed our dinner yesterday. However, we would gently suggest considering some improvements to the salad and chicken soup. The salad and soup served before our main courses felt somewhat like they might have been prepared with bulk-packaged greens and canned chicken soup, which seemed a bit out of place compared with the high quality of the rest of the meal.
Great night at the Boulevard where we had a lovely Italian dinner while on vacation on Marco Island. Our amazing waitress, Gina thoroughly entertained us with her knowledge of the food and area since she lived around the corner and had been working here for the past 8 years. She advised us on the best entrees to order on the menu. To start, a warmed crusty bread basket was brought to the table gratis and we had the calamari appetizer. All the entrées did come with a salad or soup. I enjoyed the pasta e fagioli and the sausage and peppers entree with enough leftover for another meal. Paul had the lamb chops and our friends had the barramundi entrees. We did indulge in the NY style cheesecake and decaf cappuccino. Everything was delicious and fairly priced. This is a traditional white tablecloth venue - just lovely and classic. We were there at 7:30 and it was very quiet. It was surprising but the seasonal crowd is expected to arrive within the next month or so. I am sure this place will be hopping then. We are so happy we chose The Boulevard for one of dinners. We will be sure to return on our next vacay here.
Generous portions - the veal Parmesan was huge! I had the shrimp & scallop pesto- the shrimp were a nice size, but the scallops were small & tough. I wish they had a regular bar, it would have been nice to have a cocktail.
We had come across The Boulevard on our first trip to Marco. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with the most kind, down to earth people. We then met our fabulous waitress Gina! She was the best and we miss her already! The food was fabulous. If you’re looking for a down to earth, heartfelt experience with food that is delicious and you feel like family. This is it.
Very simply, the BEST RESTAURANT on Marco Island ! Have lived here for 24 years and the menu, food, service and atmosphere are unmatched. Absolutely, everything is cooked to perfection. Veal, and lasagna are awesome, seafood as well. Consistency always the same. Their salads, soup, hot rolls and desserts are fresh and delicious. Their servers, Gina & Nelly and all staff treat you like family ! DON’T miss this gem of a restaurant !!
