While visiting Naples, we were searching for a great restaurant for our group of three adults and two kids, and choosing Ottimo turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Garlic Prawns were an absolute must-try, the prawns were huge and cooked perfectly. The combination of citrus-marinated prawns, roasted garlic and chili, charred lemon, and Tuscan olive oil was incredible. I also fell in love with the Spreadable Whipped Ricotta. Made with roasted tomato, confit garlic, basil, EVOO, and served with house focaccia, it was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. As someone who loves cheese, this dish completely won me over. My friend ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, featuring rigatoni in a creamy tomato vodka sauce with sautéed pancetta, and he absolutely loved it. The Calamarata Pescatore was another standout. It came loaded with shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, tomato saffron broth, and garlic aioli. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, and the broth brought everything together perfectly. The Salmone on 5th was amazing as well. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the parmesan risotto was creamy and delicious. The preserved lemon, capers, and Vermentino butter sauce gave the dish a bright, balanced flavor. We also tried the Branzino Alla Romana, which was excellent. The pan-seared branzino was perfectly cooked and served with artichoke hearts, sweet daterino tomatoes, and garlic potatoes. I personally skipped the artichokes, but the fish itself was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And finally, the desserts were fantastic. Everything we tried was delicious and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was absolutely top-notch, attentive, friendly, and on point the entire night. They took care of every detail and made sure our group had an amazing dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Ottimo if you’re visiting Naples we will definitely be back!

Elegant interior and great service! Started with calamari, prawns and gnocchi and had the short ribs and chicken piccata as entrees. Everything was absolutely fantastic! A clear step above other Italian restaurants in the area. Quality food, outstanding preparation and presentation. We will definitely be back next time in town!

Let me start with saying the food here is amazing. From starters to the pastas we were in love. Food 10/10. Service not so much. The hostess was quite rude when asked if we had a reservation (we did not but the restaurant was empty). Our server was attentive but the only time he smiled was after he saw he got tipped. Still with that being said would absolutely come back for the food!

Let me start saying the meatballs dish is delicious,,have tried other's. These are the best tasting, so soft and the sauce is even better margarita pizza is one of a kind ,,so fresh not oily at all ,,good texture small pies 6 slices ln a pie

We went to Ottimo for the first time earlier this week. I have to say this was probably one of the better meals we’ve had in 2026. First, all our salads and entrees, very fresh, well-spiced , and carefully plated. Highly recommend the Panzanella and Tomato & Stracciatella salads. The tomatoes and cheeses were so fresh. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Crispy Chicken Picatta, and Veal Milanese entrees were so delicious. The chef and kitchen staff should be applauded for the quality and attention to what they serve to their customers. Second, the serving staff in particular, our server, was perfect. Prompt but careful service. She made us feel so comfortable and made sure everything was to our liking. I really like the fact she brought out several of their wines to taste so we could decide what we liked the best. Finally, the dining room is a perfect size, nicely decorated but not over the top. We might have sat outside if it weren’t for the heat and humidity at 8 p.m. Right now, this is one of our favorite restaurants on 5th Ave S. Will definitely go back!
